RICHARDS BAY, South Africa (Interstat) — Richards Bay defeated Durban City FC 2-1 on Saturday in a Black Label Cup match at Richards Bay Sports Stadium, overcoming a late goal to secure the victory.

Bokang Mokwena opened the scoring for the hosts in the 52nd minute. Knox Mutizwa appeared to seal the win with an 84th-minute goal for Richards Bay. Durban City’s Mbulelo Nombengula scored in the 100th minute to create a tense finish.
