ALPENDORADA, Portugal (Interstat) — Casa Pia advanced in the Taça de Portugal on Saturday, defeating home side Alpendorada 3-0 at Estádio Municipal de Alpendorada, Alpendurada e Matos.

The visitors’ offense was powered by their substitutes, with all three goals coming off the bench. Abdu Conté opened the scoring just before halftime in the 45th minute. Sebastián Pérez and Jérémy Livolant added second-half goals in the 81st and 90+1st minutes, respectively. Assists were provided by substitutes Geraldes and Kevin Prieto. The victory defied a pregame projection that forecast a draw, as Casa Pia controlled the match to begin its campaign with a win.
