ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan (Interstat) — FK Arkadag looks to continue its dominant run and tighten its grip on the Ýokary Liga title race when it visits struggling Koepetdag Asgabat on Thursday.

The matchup at Köpetdag Stadium pits the league’s top side against a team near the bottom of the table, a gap starkly reflected in recent meetings. Arkadag has utterly dominated the head-to-head, winning the last four encounters by a combined score of 22-2, including 5-0 victories home and away on Aug. 7.

Arkadag enters in formidable form, riding a six-match winning streak across all competitions after a 4-1 victory over Merw on Sunday. The club has not lost since a scoreless draw with Andijan on Sept. 17.

In contrast, Koepetdag is reeling from a 5-1 home defeat to Altyn Asyr on Sunday and has won just once in its last 10 outings. Its defense has been a particular concern, conceding five goals in three of its last five matches.
