BUENOS AIRES (Interstat) — Two Primera B Metro sides heading in opposite directions will meet Sunday when Dep Laferrere hosts UAI Urquiza.

The match at Estadio Laferrere pits a surging home side against a visiting squad mired in a prolonged slump. In Argentina’s third-tier league, Dep Laferrere sits firmly in the upper half of the table with a record of 15-12-12. UAI Urquiza is near the bottom, struggling with a 4-9-6 mark in league play.

Dep Laferrere looks to rebound from a 1-0 road loss to Sportivo Italiano on Nov. 8. Prior to that, the club had shown strong form, winning three of its previous four matches, including a 2-1 victory over Excursionistas on Oct. 20.

Conversely, UAI Urquiza is reeling from a 1-0 home defeat to Liniers on Nov. 9. The loss continued a pattern of offensive struggles; the club has been shut out in five of its last eight matches across all competitions. A 3-0 win over Club Comunicaciones on Nov. 3 stands as a rare bright spot in a stretch that includes seven losses.

Despite the stark contrast in form, the Interstat game simulator projects a surprising 4-0 victory for the visiting UAI Urquiza.
