QINGDAO, China (Interstat) — Qingdao Xihaian FC rallied from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw with Cheng Rongcheng in the Chinese Super League on Sunday at Qingdao West Coast University City Stadium. Davidson da Luz scored twice in the first half for the visitors, finding the net in the 30th and 57th minutes. However, Felipe Sousa led the comeback for the hosts, scoring in the 68th minute before netting the dramatic equalizer in the 10th minute of second-half stoppage time. The result was a surprise after statistical models heavily favored Cheng Rongcheng to win. Both teams are now 0-0-1 in the CSL.
