JINAN, China (Interstat) — Shandong Taishan defeated Shanghai Haigang FC 3-1 on Sunday in a Chinese Super League match at Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Vako Qazaishvili scored twice for the home side, netting in the 41st and 77th minutes. Shandong’s other goal came from defender Liu Yang in the 62nd minute. Shanghai’s lone goal was scored by substitute Li Xinxiang in the ninth minute. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat that forecast a 2-2 draw, though its system heavily favored Shandong to win.
