SOFIA, Bulgaria (Interstat) — James Eto’o scored in the 76th minute to lift PFK CSKA Sofia to a 1-0 victory over rival PFK Levski Sofia in a First League match on Saturday. The lone goal at Stadion Georgi Asparuhov secured a derby win for the visiting side, defying pregame projections that heavily favored the hosts. Interstat’s simulator had predicted a Levski victory, and its ELO system gave Levski an 81.40 percent probability to win. With the result, CSKA Sofia opens its league campaign at 1-0, while Levski Sofia begins 0-1.
