Bdin vs Dobrudzha 1919

SOFIA, Bulgaria (Interstat) — Bulgarian Cup action resumes Tuesday as Bdin hosts struggling First League side Dobrudzha 1919 in a second-round matchup.

Bdin enters the contest with momentum, having won its opening cup match and carrying a perfect record across all competitions this season. Their most recent result was a 2-1 victory over SFK Etar Veliko Tarnovo on Oct. 12.

Conversely, Dobrudzha 1919 is mired in a deep slump. The team has lost eight of its last nine matches across all competitions, including a 1-0 home defeat to PFK CSKA Sofia on Oct. 19. Dobrudzha’s overall season record stands at a dismal 2-8-1.

The visitors’ only victories this season came in their first two matches back in late July and early August. Since then, they have been shut out in six of their nine subsequent games.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for the home side, Bdin.

Following the cup tie, Dobrudzha 1919 returns to its difficult First League campaign with a match against FK Spartak 1918 Varna on Nov. 1.
