VIENNA (Interstat) — A battle of unbeatens in the Austrian Cup will take place Tuesday when SV Stripfing/Weiden hosts SPG LASK Amateure/OO.

Both clubs enter the third-round matchup with perfect 2-0-0 records in the domestic cup competition. The winner will advance to the Round of 16.

The home side, Stripfing/Weiden, is looking to build on a thrilling 4-3 league victory over Wels last Friday. Their overall form, however, has been inconsistent with a 3-5-0 record across all competitions this season.

The visitors from LASK present a complex challenge. While their 5-6-1 overall record is mixed, they have shown the ability to pull off upsets, including a 2-0 cup win over top-flight side Rapid Vienna on Oct. 19. They are, however, coming off a 3-2 home loss to ASK Voitsberg this past Sunday.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the match is projected to be a tight, low-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of 1-0 in favor of the hosts, Stripfing/Weiden.

The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. local time kickoff at the Sportplatz Weiden in Vienna.
