Al Salt vs Sahab

AL SALT, Jordan (Interstat) — Al Salt will host Sahab on Monday in a Jordanian Cup group stage match, with both sides looking for their first win in the domestic cup competition.

The matchup at Al Salt’s home stadium kicks off at 6 p.m. local time.

Al Salt enters the contest in stronger overall form, carrying a record of 2-1-2 across all competitions this season. They are unbeaten in their last three outings, most recently playing to a 0-0 draw against Ma’an on Saturday. Their last victory was a 1-0 win over Al Jazeera Amman on Sept. 8.

Sahab, by contrast, brings a 1-1 record into the cup tie. They are looking to build on the momentum of a 1-0 victory over Al Faisaly on Saturday, which snapped a losing streak that began with a 3-1 loss to Al Ramtha on Oct. 4.

In the cup standings, both teams have yet to record a win or a loss, making Monday’s result critical for early positioning in the group.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the match is projected to end in a 1-1 draw.

Following this cup fixture, Sahab will return to league play against Al Wehdat on Oct. 25. Al Salt’s next match is on the road against Moghayer Al Sarhan on Oct. 26.
