PAYSANDU, Uruguay (Interstat) — Lucas Ocampo scored twice in a 10-minute span late in the second half to lift Plaza Colonia to a 2-0 victory over Juventud on Saturday in the Uruguayan Primera División. Ocampo broke a scoreless deadlock in the 74th minute and added another in the 84th minute at Estadio Municipal Parque Artigas. The win was an upset, as statistical models heavily favored the home side. Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 1-1 draw, and its ELO system gave Juventud a 71.4% probability of winning. Both teams opened their league seasons with the result.
