BUCHAREST, Romania (Interstat) — A clash of contrasting form awaits Wednesday in the Romanian Cup as the unbeaten Sănătatea Darabani hosts a struggling Univ Craiova.

The Round of 32 match, organized by the Cupa României, pits a Darabani side that has been perfect in the domestic cup against a Univ Craiova team looking to reverse its fortunes.

Sănătatea Darabani enters the contest with a 3-0-1 record in this competition, having outscored its opponents 11-1. Across all competitions this season, the club is undefeated at 3-0-1. Its most recent result was a 1-1 draw with AFC Unirea Slobozia on Aug. 27.

Univ Craiova, meanwhile, is 0-1 in the Cupa României and carries a 4-4 record across all competitions. The team is looking to bounce back from a 1-0 home loss to Otelul on Sept. 20, its fourth defeat in its last seven matches in all tournaments.

According to the Interstat game simulator, Sănătatea Darabani is projected to win 2-0.

The winner of Wednesday’s match will advance to face the winner of the Petrolul Ploiești vs. Gloria Bistrița tie in the next round.
