BAHIA BLANCA, Argentina (Interstat) — Olimpo will look to maintain its recent dominance over Kimberley Mar del Plata when the two sides meet Sunday in a Torneo Federal A fixture.

The match at Olimpo’s Estadio Roberto Natalio Carminatti pits a home side in strong form against a visiting team struggling for consistency.

Olimpo sits higher in the table with a record of 11-7-10 in the Federal A, compared to Kimberley MdP’s 8-11-7 mark. The home side has also been the superior team in recent head-to-head matchups. Olimpo has won three of the last four encounters, including two 1-0 victories at home earlier this year in July and June.

Their most recent meeting on Oct. 20 ended in a 1-1 draw, a result that snapped Olimpo’s winning streak in the series. Olimpo is coming off a 0-0 draw with Juventud Unida on Oct. 5, while Kimberley MdP earned a 1-0 win over Cipolletti on Oct. 3.

Despite the historical data favoring the hosts, the Interstat game simulator projects a narrow 1-0 victory for the visitors, Kimberley MdP.

Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Bahia Blanca.
