NAZARETH ILLIT, Israel (Interstat) — Hap Nof HaGalil and Hapoel Afula played to a 1-1 draw Friday in an Israeli Liga Leumit match at Green Stadium.

Shahar Hirsh opened the scoring for the visiting side in the 34th minute, but Hap Nof HaGalil’s Yaniv Mizrachi equalized just five minutes later. The result matched the projection by Interstat’s game simulator, though its ELO system had heavily favored the home side to win.

The draw leaves both clubs in the lower half of the league table. Hapoel Afula’s league record is now 2-8-4, while Hap Nof HaGalil moves to 1-7-4. Hapoel Afula next hosts Kiryat Yam SC on Dec. 15, while Hap Nof HaGalil visits Hapoel Ra’anana on Dec. 12.
