ANDORRA LA VELLA, Andorra (Interstat) — The 1a Divisió title race will feature an unusual dynamic Saturday when FC Santa Coloma hosts itself.

Yes, the same team plays itself April 25 in a match that pits one side of the club’s roster against the other in an intra-squad contest organized by Andorra’s top football league. Kickoff is scheduled for Estadi Nacional.

No head-to-head advantage exists, but the squad’s recent form provides some clues. On April 19, a dominant FC Santa Coloma side thumped Esper Andorra 4-0, extending an unbeaten run. Another FC Santa Coloma group, meanwhile, defeated Penya Encarnada 2-0 on April 18, a day earlier.

Two prior meetings between the same two entities happened earlier this season. On Jan. 25, one FC Santa Coloma team beat the other 2-1. On Oct. 19, 2025, a 1-0 victory went the other way.

Overall, the club has won eight of its last 10 matches, with draws against IC d’Escaldes (1-1 on April 12) and Carroi (0-0 on March 22). The lone loss in that span remains the Oct. 19 head-to-head encounter.
