FC Santa Coloma Hosts Esper Andorra in Andorran Primera Divisió Clash

ANDORRA LA VELLA, Andorra (Interstat) — FC Santa Coloma, the dominant force in Andorran football, will look to continue its title pursuit when it hosts local rival Esper Andorra on Sunday in a 1a Divisió matchup.

The fixture presents a stark contrast in form. Santa Coloma enters riding a wave of momentum, fresh off a 2-0 victory over Penya Encarnada on Saturday. The league leaders are unbeaten in their last 10 domestic matches, a run featuring seven wins and three draws.

Esper Andorra, meanwhile, seeks to rebound from a 1-0 home loss to Penya Encarnada on Monday. Their recent results have been inconsistent, with just two wins in their last eight league outings.

The recent head-to-head history between the clubs tells a volatile story. In their last three meetings, results have swung dramatically. Esper Andorra earned a 2-1 home win on Jan. 18, 2026, providing a notable upset. That result, however, is sandwiched between two commanding Santa Coloma victories: a 7-0 home win on Dec. 14, 2025, and a 4-0 away triumph on Nov. 26, 2025.

Statistical models heavily favor the hosts. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 3-0 victory for Santa Coloma. Their ELO rating system calculates Santa Coloma with a 92.80% probability of winning Sunday’s contest.

A victory would solidify Santa Coloma’s position atop the table as the season enters its final weeks. For Esper Andorra, the match is an opportunity to salvage pride from a difficult campaign and replicate their shock result from January.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026. The return leg in the head-to-head series is set for Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Esper Andorra’s ground.
