BUENOS AIRES (Interstat) — Fernando Martínez scored in the 34th minute to lift visiting Central Cordoba to a 1-0 victory over Huracan in the Argentine Primera Nacional on Wednesday. The match, played at Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó, was the season opener for both clubs. Substitute Lucas Abascia provided the assist on the game’s only goal before later receiving a yellow card. The result was an upset, as statistical models heavily favored Huracan to win.
