BUENOS AIRES (Interstat) — Two sides struggling for consistency in Argentina’s Primera Nacional will meet Monday when Atlético Tucumán hosts Almagro.

The match at the Estadio Monumental José Fierro pits a Tucumán side with a league record of 5-5-12 against an Almagro club sitting at 12-15-17 in the second-division competition. Both teams are coming off recent losses.

Almagro fell 1-0 to San Martín San Juan on Oct. 10, a result that extended its winless streak. Despite the loss, midfielder Ignacio Perruzzi and forward Facundo Gulli were noted as productive players in that contest. Almagro’s form has been mixed, with a 2-0 win over Godoy Cruz on Sept. 27 followed by the recent defeat.

Atlético Tucumán is looking to rebound from a 2-0 road loss to Instituto AC Córdoba on Oct. 12. Its season has been marked by inconsistency, though it secured a 2-0 victory over Platense on Oct. 4 and a notable 2-0 win against River Plate on Sept. 21.

Across all competitions, Atlético Tucumán holds a 15-22-13 record, while Almagro is 12-17-19.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the match is projected to end in a 1-1 draw.
