Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar

A-LEAGUE PREVIEW

PERTH, Australia (Interstat) — Perth Glory hosts Brisbane Roar on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in an A-League matchup with postseason implications for both sides.

The teams met twice earlier this season, splitting results. Brisbane won 2-1 on Jan. 16 in Perth, while the clubs played to a 1-1 draw on Feb. 28 in Brisbane.

Brisbane enters Saturday’s contest following a 3-2 home loss to Melbourne City on April 18. The Roar have struggled for consistency, with just one win in their last five outings — a 4-2 victory over lower-tier Heidelberg United on Feb. 8. That stretch includes draws against Central Coast Mariners (2-2 on April 10) and Sydney (0-0 on April 2), as well as a 2-1 loss to Kampong Speu Province on March 20. Brisbane’s road form has been uneven, with a 4-1 defeat at Newcastle Jets on Jan. 31 and a 1-1 draw at Melbourne Victory on Feb. 14.

Perth Glory played to a scoreless draw at Sydney on April 18, its third consecutive match without a win. The Glory’s last victory came April 12, a 3-1 home result against Macarthur. Since then, Perth has drawn 2-2 at Central Coast Mariners on April 4 and tied 1-1 with Melbourne City on March 22. Perth’s home form has been mixed, with losses to Kampong Speu Province (2-0 on March 13) and Adelaide United (4-0 on Feb. 20) offset by a 2-2 draw against Auckland FC on March 7.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

Kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. local time at HBF Park.
