MELBOURNE, Australia (Interstat) — Melbourne City and Perth Glory, both seeking their first win of the young A-League Men season, will face off Saturday at AAMI Park.

The early-season matchup finds both clubs level on one point in the standings. Melbourne City (0-0-1) comes in after a 1-1 draw on the road against Western Sydney Wanderers last Saturday. Perth Glory (0-0-1) also earned a point from a 2-2 draw against Kampong Speu Province in its last outing.

Despite the identical records, a statistical projection from Interstat heavily favors the visitors, simulating a 3-1 victory for Perth Glory.

The game will be the first of two regular-season meetings between the clubs this season, with the return fixture scheduled for March 22 in Perth.

Following this contest, Melbourne City will prepare for a trip to face Brisbane Roar on Oct. 31. Perth Glory returns home to host Melbourne Victory on the same date as the A-League season continues.
