FALKIRK, Scotland (Interstat) — Barney Stewart’s hat trick propelled Falkirk FC to a dominant 4-1 victory over Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Falkirk Stadium.

Stewart scored in the 17th, 43rd and 83rd minutes, overwhelming the visiting side. Rocky Bushiri added a goal and an assist in the 59th minute for Falkirk. Hibernian’s lone reply came from substitute Grant Hanley in the 89th minute.

The result was a stark reversal from both teams’ previous meeting in December and defied pre-match projections that heavily favored Hibernian. The win levels both clubs on nine wins in league play this season.
