Aberdeen Looks to Reverse Fortunes Against Struggling Livingston
ABERDEEN, Scotland (Interstat) — Aberdeen will seek to end a four-match winless run in the Scottish Premiership when it hosts a Livingston side mired in a prolonged slump on Saturday.
The match at Pittodrie Stadium pits two clubs in need of a momentum shift as the league season enters a critical phase.
Aberdeen (10-6-8) has not won since a 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock on Dec. 14, 2025, a stretch that includes three losses and a draw. Most recently, the Dons fell 2-0 at home to Rangers on Jan. 11. Their attack has stalled, failing to score in their last three Premiership outings.
Livingston (2-9-13) sits at the bottom of the table, winless in its last 10 league matches (0-3-7). Its last victory was a 1-1 draw against Saint Mirren on Jan. 20. Defensive issues have plagued the team, which has conceded multiple goals in seven of those 10 winless games.
The head-to-head history favors Aberdeen, which earned a 1-0 away win over Livingston on Nov. 30 in the teams’ most recent meeting.
Despite the form guide, a statistical projection by Interstat forecasts an away victory, simulating a 2-1 final score for Livingston.
Aberdeen manager Scott Brown will likely look to forwards Bojan Miovski and Dante Polvara to reignite the offense. Livingston boss David Martindale will hope the resilience shown in recent draws against Kilmarnock and Saint Mirren can translate into a full result.
Following this match, Aberdeen faces a tough trip to Kilmarnock on Jan. 31. Livingston continues its fight for survival at home against Motherwell on the same date.
Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time at Pittodrie.
