ABERDEEN, Scotland (Dec. 27, 2025) (Interstat) — Aberdeen FC and Dundee United played to a 1-1 draw Saturday in the Scottish Premiership at Pittodrie Stadium, defying pre-match projections.

Dundee United substitute Amar Ahmed opened the scoring in the 30th minute, assisted by fellow substitute Bert Esselink. Aberdeen leveled just before halftime in the 60th minute when forward Jesper Karlsson found the net, with Adil Aouchiche providing the assist.

The match was a physical affair, producing five yellow cards. The result leaves both clubs with identical records in all competitions: zero wins, zero losses and one draw. The outcome contrasted sharply with a pre-game statistical simulation that heavily favored Aberdeen to win.
