Livingston vs Aberdeen FC
LIVINGSTON, Scotland (Interstat) — Aberdeen FC, riding a wave of positive results, will look to continue its climb up the Scottish Premiership table Sunday when it visits a struggling Livingston side at Almondvale Stadium.
The Dons enter the match with momentum, coming off a 1-0 home victory over Heart of Midlothian FC last Sunday. That result extended Aberdeen’s unbeaten run to four matches in league play, a stretch that includes two wins and two draws. Manager Barry Robson will hope that stingy defensive form, which has seen the club concede just one goal during that span, travels well.
Livingston, however, finds itself in a more precarious position. The Lions are coming off a hard-fought 2-1 road loss to Rangers last Saturday, a match that extended their winless streak to five games. Their last victory came on Nov. 1 in a 2-2 draw with Hibernian. Defensive consistency has been an issue for the home side, which has conceded multiple goals in four of its last five outings.
Despite the contrasting form, the Interstat game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for Livingston. The matchup will be the first of a home-and-away set between the clubs this season, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Jan. 24, 2026, at Pittodrie Stadium.
Following Sunday’s contest, Aberdeen faces a quick turnaround, hosting Saint Mirren on Wednesday. Livingston’s next match is a road trip to Motherwell on Dec. 6.
