WESTERLO, Belgium (Interstat) — Substitute Oh Hyeongyu scored in the 35th minute to lift Genk to a 1-0 victory over Westerlo in the Belgian First Division A on Sunday. The game’s only goal at Het Kuipje was assisted by fellow substitute Jusef Erabi, who later received a yellow card in stoppage time. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat that forecast a 2-2 draw, though its system heavily favored Genk to win. With the win, Genk opens its season 1-0, while Westerlo begins 0-1.
