MADRID (Interstat) — Real Betis U19 delivered a stunning 7-1 victory over host Atletico Palma del Rio CF on Thursday in the Copa del Rey Juvenil. The lopsided result at Estadio Municipal Sergio León defied a pregame projection that favored the home side. Pablo Garcia and Rodrigo Riquelme each scored twice for the dominant visitors, who led 3-0 by halftime. Sergi Altimira, Diego Llorente and Abde Ezzalzouli also found the net for Real Betis U19. The win gives Real Betis U19 a 1-0 record in the Spanish youth competition, while Atletico Palma del Rio CF starts 0-1.
