LORCA, Spain (Interstat) — A spot in the next round of the Copa del Rey Juvenil is on the line Wednesday when Lorca Deportiva CF hosts UD Almería in a Spanish youth football clash.

Both sides enter the knockout tournament with identical 0-0 records in the competition this season. Their overall records across all competitions also stand at 0-0, making this a fresh start for the two academy sides.

Historical data provides little insight, though Lorca Deportiva can draw confidence from a long-ago result, a 2-0 victory over AD Ceuta in May 2008. No recent result is available for Almería’s youth squad.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the match is projected to be a tightly contested affair, with a narrow 1-0 victory for the visiting UD Almería side.

The match is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.
