ZARAGOZA, Spain (Interstat) — CD Ebro and SD Tarazona will open their Copa del Rey Juvenil campaigns on Wednesday in a matchup of youth sides looking for their first competitive win of the season.

The match, scheduled for Oct. 29, 2025, pits the host CD Ebro against visiting SD Tarazona. Both teams enter the knockout tournament with identical 0-0 records in the competition and have yet to register a win or a loss across all competitions this season.

Ebro carries the momentum of a recent competitive fixture, having fallen 1-0 to UD Logroñés in a league match on Sept. 21. Tarazona’s form is more of a mystery, with no recent result available for analysis.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the contest is projected to be a tight, low-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of 1-0 in favor of the visitors from Tarazona.

The Copa del Rey Juvenil provides a national stage for the youth academies of Spanish clubs, offering a chance for progression and a test against unfamiliar opposition. With both teams seeking to ignite their seasons, the single-elimination format adds immediate pressure to advance.
