MADRID (Interstat) — Sevilla’s first-team squad travels to face youth side CD Toledo U19 in the Copa del Rey Juvenil on Tuesday, a rare matchup pitting a La Liga powerhouse against an academy team.

The round of 64 fixture, scheduled for Oct. 28, 2025, is a classic cup contest, with the senior Sevilla side heavily favored on paper against their teenage hosts. Sevilla enters with a 4-3-1 record across all competitions this season, though they are looking to rebound from a 2-1 loss at Real Sociedad on Friday. Their form has been inconsistent, with a stunning 4-1 victory over Barcelona on Oct. 5 sandwiched between losses to Mallorca and Real Sociedad.

CD Toledo U19, competing in Spain’s national youth championship, brings a perfect 1-0-0 record in all competitions into the match following a 1-0 win over UCAM Murcia U19 on Oct. 3.

Despite the apparent mismatch, the Interstat game simulator projects a competitive 1-1 draw. The game offers a potential upset narrative, as the young Toledo squad will aim to defend its home pitch against a Sevilla team that may be looking ahead to a congested schedule. Sevilla faces a trip to West Ham United in the UEFA Europa League on Oct. 31, followed by a La Liga clash at Atletico Madrid on Nov. 1.
