MADRID (Interstat) — Atl Tordesillas and Burgos U19 will open their Copa del Rey Juvenil campaigns on Tuesday in a Round of 64 match that pits a home side seeking its first win of the season against a visiting club looking to rebound from a lopsided defeat.

The matchup, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at Atl Tordesillas’ home ground, is the first domestic cup fixture for both Spanish youth sides. While both teams hold 0-0 records within the tournament itself, their recent form diverges sharply.

Atl Tordesillas enters with momentum, coming off a 2-0 victory over Villaralbo in league play on Sunday, Sept. 21. That result provided a needed boost after a winless start across all competitions.

Conversely, Burgos U19 is looking to reset after a difficult 2-0 home loss to the powerhouse Real Madrid U19 academy on the same date. The defeat highlighted the challenge they will face on the road.

The Interstat game simulator projects a tightly contested affair, predicting a 1-1 draw that would likely send the match to extra time or a penalty shootout to determine which club advances to the next round.

The pressure will be on the hosts to capitalize on their home-field advantage and carry the confidence from their first victory into the cup tie. Burgos U19, meanwhile, aims to demonstrate its loss to Real Madrid was an anomaly against elite competition and prove its mettle in a win-or-go-home scenario.
