ROMA (Interstat) — Napoli opened its Serie A season with a stunning 2-0 away victory over Lazio on Sunday, defying heavy odds at Stadio Olimpico. Leonardo Spinazzola put the visitors ahead in the 13th minute, and Amir Rrahmani doubled the lead in the 32nd. The match deteriorated late, featuring three red cards in a seven-minute span. Lazio’s Adam Marušić and Napoli’s Pasquale Mazzocchi were sent off after Tijjani Noslin received a straight red. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Lazio. Napoli begins its campaign 1-0-0, while Lazio starts 0-1-0.
