NAPLES, Italy (Interstat) — Napoli delivered a stunning 3-1 victory over Inter Milan in Serie A play Saturday at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, defying heavy odds. The result was a shock after statistical models heavily favored Inter Milan to win.

Scott McTominay opened the scoring for Napoli in the 54th minute. André-Frank Zambo Anguissa doubled the lead just 12 minutes later. Kevin De Bruyne and Hakan Çalhanoğlu also found the net for their respective clubs in the match. The win came despite Inter Milan being projected with a 97.9 percent probability to win pregame.
