PADOVA, Italy (Interstat) — Padova and Cesena played to a 1-1 draw in a Serie B match Monday at Stadio Comunale Euganeo.

Substitute Emanuele Adamo broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 75th minute, but Padova forward Kevin Varas leveled the score deep into stoppage time in the 93rd. Adamo also assisted on Varas’s goal in a chaotic finale.

The match was a physical affair, featuring eight yellow cards. The result leaves both teams with identical records of zero wins, zero losses and one draw in the league this season. The final score matched the projection of Interstat’s game simulator, though its ELO system had given Padova a 62.5% probability to win at home.
