Rosenborg Routs Stromsgodset in Dominant Eliteserien Opener
TRONDHEIM, Norway (Interstat) — Rosenborg opened its Eliteserien season with a commanding 6-0 victory over Stromsgodset on Sunday at a raucous Lerkendal Stadion. The match was a showcase of offensive firepower, exceeding the three-goal projection from Interstat’s game simulator.
Midfielder Simen Bolkan Nordli and forward Dávid Ďuriš each scored two goals to power the rout. Rosenborg seized control with four first-half goals, including strikes from Nordli and Ďuriš just four minutes apart. The second half saw further goals from Dino Islamović and Emil Ceide, who scored deep into stoppage time to cap the lopsided win. Stromsgodset, which was given an 86.30 percent probability to lose by Interstat’s ELO system, offered little resistance and failed to get on the scoresheet.
