AGUASCALIENTES, Mexico (Interstat) — Necaxa delivered a stunning 4-1 victory over Santos Laguna on Friday in Liga MX action at Estadio Victoria, far exceeding pregame projections.

The home side erupted for four first-half goals, starting with Bruno Amione’s strike in the fifth minute. Diber Cambindo, Haret Ortega and Tomás Badaloni all found the net before the break, overwhelming the visitors. Kevin Rosero added a second-half goal for Necaxa. Substitute Haret Ortega was instrumental, contributing a goal and an assist in the decisive win. The result defied Interstat’s pregame simulator, which had projected a 1-1 draw.
