Queretaro vs Guadalajara
QUERETARO, Mexico (Interstat) — A resurgent Guadalajara side will look to continue its climb up the Liga MX table when it visits a struggling Queretaro on Wednesday.
The matchup at Estadio Corregidora pits two teams on opposite trajectories. Guadalajara (5-4-2) enters with momentum, riding a three-game winning streak after a 2-0 victory over Mazatlan on Saturday. Queretaro (3-6-2), meanwhile, is reeling from a 4-0 road loss to Toluca, a defeat that extended its winless run to two matches.
Form favors the visitors. Guadalajara has won four of its last five Liga MX contests, a stark turnaround from its early-season struggles. Queretaro has managed just one win in its last five outings, a 3-1 victory over Club Puebla on Oct. 4.
Despite the disparity in recent results, the Interstat game simulator projects a tight, low-scoring affair, predicting a 1-1 draw.
Guadalajara’s attack has found its rhythm, scoring two or more goals in four of its last five league games. Queretaro’s defense will be under pressure after conceding four times in its last match. The hosts have shown flashes, including a 3-2 win over Atletico San Luis and a 2-2 draw with Cruz Azul, but consistency has been an issue.
Following this contest, Guadalajara will host Atlas on Saturday. Queretaro travels to face Santos Laguna on Sunday.
