Brentford vs West Ham Utd

LONDON (Interstat) — A simulation by Interstat projects Brentford and West Ham United will play to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, May 2, in a Premier League matchup at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The projection comes as both London clubs navigate the final stretch of the season with European qualification at stake.

West Ham enters the fixture with momentum after a 2-1 victory over Everton on April 25. The win extended the Hammers’ recent run to four matches without a loss in league play (3-0-1), including a 4-2 triumph over Chelsea on April 19 and a 4-0 rout of Wolverhampton on April 10.

Manager Julen Lopetegui’s side has shown attacking firepower, scoring 10 goals in its last four outings. However, West Ham’s most recent head-to-head with Brentford ended in a 2-0 home defeat on Oct. 20, 2025.

Brentford comes off a 2-1 loss at Manchester United on April 27, snapping a two-match unbeaten run. Thomas Frank’s squad drew 0-0 with Fulham on April 18 and defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 on April 12.

The Bees have been inconsistent at home, posting a 1-2-2 record over their last five in front of their own supporters. Brentford’s defense has been sturdy, keeping clean sheets in three of its last five matches across all competitions.

Saturday’s contest holds significant implications for the standings. With only three matches remaining for both sides after this weekend, points are at a premium.

West Ham faces a daunting schedule ahead, traveling to Luton Town following this match before hosting Arsenal on May 10 and visiting Newcastle United on May 17.

Brentford’s path is equally challenging, with a trip to Manchester City on May 9, a home match against Crystal Palace on May 17 and a visit to Liverpool on May 24.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. local time. The match will be available on NBC Sports in the United States.
