Wolverhampton vs Tottenham Hotspur
PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW
WOLVERHAMPTON, England (Interstat) — Wolverhampton hosts Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, April 25, in a Premier League fixture that pits two clubs in contrasting recent form against each other.
Tottenham enters the match coming off a 2-2 draw at Brighton & Hove on April 18, a result that snapped a four-match losing streak. Prior to that, manager Ange Postecoglou’s side had dropped consecutive league matches — a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland and a 3-1 loss at Brentford, both on April 12. Spurs have struggled for consistency this season, with only two wins — against Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa — in their last 12 league outings. Their last meeting with Wolverhampton ended 1-1 on Sept. 27, 2025.
Wolverhampton, meanwhile, is coming off a 3-0 loss at Leeds United on April 18, the club’s second defeat in three matches after a 4-0 loss at West Ham on April 10. Manager Gary O’Neil’s squad has shown flashes of resilience, including a 2-2 draw at Brentford and a 2-1 win over Liverpool, but has also been prone to heavy defeats, including a 4-0 loss at West Ham and a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea.
Wolverhampton’s home form has been mixed, with a 2-2 draw against Arsenal and a 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Molineux.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for Tottenham.
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. local time.
Looking ahead, Tottenham travels to Aston Villa on May 3, then hosts Roma in a club friendly on May 6. Wolverhampton hosts Sunderland on May 2.
