Wolverhampton Rallies Late to Draw Arsenal in Premier League Opener

WOLVERHAMPTON, England (Interstat) — Wolverhampton scored deep in stoppage time to secure a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Molineux Stadium.

Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal an early lead in the fifth minute. Wolverhampton equalized just before halftime through defender Piero Hincapié. Hugo Bueno then put the home side ahead in the 61st minute, assisted by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Arsenal substitute Gabriel Jesus set up Tom Edozie’s dramatic leveling goal in the fourth minute of added time. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Arsenal. Both teams begin their league campaigns with a draw.
