LIVERPOOL, England (Interstat) — Liverpool defeated Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Anfield. Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, and Ryan Gravenberch added a second-half goal to secure the victory for the hosts.

Salah found the net in the 45+1st minute, while Gravenberch scored in the 58th. Virgil van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai were among the players credited with assists. The match was a physical contest, with five yellow cards issued by the referee.
