VIENNA (Interstat) — Austria and Bosnia-Herzegovina played to a 1-1 draw in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday at Ernst-Happel-Stadion.

Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Haris Tabaković opened the scoring in the 12th minute, assisted by Dennis Hadžikadunić. Austria’s Michael Gregoritsch equalized in the 77th minute, with Konrad Laimer providing the assist. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Austria to win. Both teams earned a point from the draw, moving their records in the competition to 0-0-1.
