Leek Town vs Bromsgrove
LEEK, England (Interstat) — Two early FA Trophy entrants with identical records will clash Saturday when Leek Town hosts Bromsgrove in a preliminary round match.
The fixture, scheduled for Oct. 25, 2025, at Harrison Park, pits two teams that have started their seasons with matching 1-1-1 records across all competitions. Both sides also enter with 1-0 records in this season’s FA Trophy, setting up a contest to see which club will advance with a perfect start in the competition.
Bromsgrove arrives with momentum from a decisive 3-0 road victory over Barwell on Oct. 4. That performance marked a stark turnaround from their season-opening 5-2 home defeat to Evesham United on Aug. 30.
Leek Town also comes in on a high, having secured a 2-1 away win against Halesowen Town on Oct. 4. However, their form has been less consistent, following a 3-0 home loss to Harborough Town on Sept. 2 and a scoreless draw with the same opponent on Aug. 30.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Leek Town holds a slight edge, projected to win 2-1. The home side will look to leverage its home-field advantage to validate that prediction, while Bromsgrove aims to continue its recent scoring form and secure a road victory.
