Feyenoord vs AZ
ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (Interstat) — Substitute Troy Parrott scored in the first minute and Thijs Kraaijeveld added an assist before receiving a yellow card, but AZ Alkmaar could not hold the lead as Feyenoord equalized through Anis Hadj Moussa in the 57th minute, leaving both sides with a 1-1 draw Sunday in an Eredivisie match at Stadion Feijenoord.
Parrott, coming off the bench, capitalized on a quick buildup just 60 seconds in, burying a pass from Kraaijeveld to give AZ an early advantage. The home crowd at Feijenoord was silenced by the rapid strike. Kraaijeveld, a midfielder, was cautioned in the 30th minute for a tactical foul as AZ attempted to protect its lead. Feyenoord responded with sustained pressure in the second half, and Hadj Moussa leveled the match with a finish that beat the AZ goalkeeper in the 57th minute. Neither team could find a winner in the remaining time, and the game ended in a stalemate.
