BUDAPEST (Jan. 22, 2026) (Interstat) — Substitute Anass Zaroury scored in the 86th minute to secure a 1-1 draw for Panathinaikos AO against Ferencvarosi TC in Europa League group stage play Thursday at Groupama Arena.

The result left both teams with identical records in the competition: 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw.

Ferencvaros forward Dele opened the scoring earlier in the match. His goal was assisted by defender Toon Raemaekers, who later received a yellow card. The match featured four total cautions.

The draw defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the Hungarian side.
