YUNCOS, Spain (Interstat) — Vallecano U19 delivered a stunning 6-1 victory over CD Yuncos in a Copa del Rey Juvenil match on Wednesday, defying pregame projections. Playing at Complejo Deportivo Yuncos, the visitors were powered by a first-half hat trick from Francisco Perez, who scored in the 36th, 38th and 40th minutes. Gerard Gumbau, Óscar Trejo and Sergio Camello added second-half goals for Vallecano U19. The lopsided result was unexpected, as statistical models heavily favored a CD Yuncos win. Vallecano U19 begins the competition with a victory, while CD Yuncos starts with a loss.
