PALMA, Spain (Interstat) — Constancia U19 and Girona will open their Copa del Rey Juvenil campaigns on Tuesday, with both Spanish youth sides seeking a fresh start after recent defeats.

The first-round match, scheduled for Oct. 28, 2025, pits the hosts from Palma de Mallorca against a Girona squad that competes in the top tier of national youth football.

Both teams enter the knockout tournament with identical 0-0 records in the competition this season. Their form across all competitions is also level, with neither side registering a win or a loss in official matches to date.

However, each club is looking to rebound from a loss in their most recent outing. On Sept. 21, Girona was handed a 4-0 defeat by Levante. That same day, Constancia U19 fell 1-0 to San Francisco U19.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the closely matched contest is projected to end in a 1-1 draw, which would force the tie to be decided by a penalty shootout.

The winner will advance to the next round of Spain’s premier youth cup competition.
