Bermuda vs Curacao

HAMILTON, Bermuda (Interstat) — A stark contrast in form will be on display Thursday when Bermuda hosts Curaçao in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier.

Curaçao enters the match at the National Stadium unbeaten in the qualifying campaign, boasting a record of 4-0-1. They sit atop their group with 13 points. Conversely, Bermuda is still seeking its first points, having lost all five of its qualifiers while being outscored 18-3.

The visiting side is also undefeated across all competitions this season at 4-0-2. Bermuda’s overall record stands at 0-5-1.

The teams last met on Sept. 9, with Curaçao securing a 3-2 victory at home. Bermuda will look to build on that competitive performance, having scored twice in the previous encounter.

Curaçao is coming off a 1-1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago on Oct. 14, while Bermuda suffered a 4-0 loss to Jamaica on the same date.

Despite the lopsided records, the Interstat game simulator projects a 2-2 draw.

Following this match, Curaçao will travel to face Jamaica on Nov. 18, while Bermuda will visit Trinidad and Tobago.
