Seoul, S’frecce Hiroshima Battle to 2‑2 Draw in AFC Champions League Group Stage Match

SEOUL (Interstat) — Seoul and Japan’s S’frecce Hiroshima played to a 2-2 draw in an AFC Champions League match Tuesday at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The visitors struck first in the 27th minute on a headed goal by substitute Naoto Arai. Seoul equalized in the third minute of second-half stoppage time when substitute Ryō Germain scored. The match featured four yellow cards, issued to Shunki Higashi, Lee Seungmo, Cho Youngwook and Park Seonghoon.

The result left both teams with identical records in the competition and across all competitions: no wins, no losses and one draw. The match exceeded the 1-1 score projected by Interstat’s simulator, though Seoul had entered as a significant favorite.
