AMSTERDAM (Interstat) — HHC Hardenberg defeated Amsterdamsche W 3-2 on Saturday at Sportpark Goed Genoeg in the Tweede Divisie season opener. HHC Hardenberg improved to 1-0 in league play and overall. Amsterdamsche W fell to 0-1 in both competitions.

Merijn Mink opened the scoring in the 20th minute, followed by Lars Spit in the 44th and Maarten Pouwels in the 70th, all off the bench for HHC Hardenberg. Amsterdamsche W answered with a goal from forward Delano Gouda in the 88th minute after defender Indy Lee scored in the 80th minute. Lee also assisted Gouda’s goal. Lee was shown a yellow card in the 87th minute.

HHC Hardenberg’s three goals came from substitutes Mink, Spit and Pouwels. Amsterdamsche W’s goals came from Gouda and Lee, who contributed a goal and an assist.
