SILKEBORG, Denmark (Interstat) — ASA Aarhus delivered a major upset Friday, defeating Silkeborg 2-0 on the road in a Danish Superliga match at JYSK Park. The victory defied a pregame projection that gave Silkeborg a 90% probability to win. Rasmus Carstensen opened the scoring in the 34th minute, and Markus Solbakken secured the result with a second goal in the 79th minute. The win gives Aarhus a perfect start to the league season, while handing the heavily favored home side an opening loss.
